New York City

The first time we went to New York was in the winter 2000. It was bitterly cold, but we managed to see most of the interesting buildings and spent the afternoon in the famous New York Metropolitan Museum of Art (called the Met). New York is less than 2 hours drive from where we live, so it's possible to do day visits.

Here is the famous christmas tree at the Rockerfeller Center, and the ice rink underneath.
